About The Author | Sara Hannant is an independent photographer with a background in fine art, editorial, documentary, and socially engaged photography. Her photographs have been featured on the BBC, and in The Guardian and The Sunday Times, and other publications. Her book Mummers, Maypoles and Milkmaids: A Journey through the English Ritual Year received a runner-up Katharine Briggs Award in 2012.Simon Costin, an art director and curator, is the director of the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic and the Museum of British Folklore. |
