About The Author | JILL PRUETZ is a primatologist, biological anthropologist, and National Geographic Emerging Explorer whose work focuses on studying chimpanzee behavioral ecology. She received her Ph.D. in biological anthropology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and works as a professor in the Department of Anthropology at Texas State University. She also teaches field classes in Costa Rica and conducts research at the Fongoli Chimpanzee field site in Senegal, West Africa. |
