About The Author

Danielle Levy noticed a distinct lack of cupcakes when she first moved to Israel. To correct this problem, she began selling her cupcake creations through her website. The response was so positive she opened Israel’s first cupcake bakery in 2010. Danielle also teaches workshops on cupcake baking.

Caterpillar Cake   Makes 14 cupcakes   Make your kids a giant caterpillar cupcake. Fun and delicious for all the kids to share.   Ingredients   ½ cup butter, room temperature 2 cups of caster sugar 2 eggs 2 egg whites 2 tsp vanilla extract 3 cups of plain cake flour 3 tsp baking powder 1 pinch salt 1 cup of buttermilk 1 cup of chocolate chips   Frosting 5 cups of confectioner’s sugar 6 ½ ounces unsalted butter 2 tbsp milk 2 tsp vanilla essence 2-3 drops green food coloring   Garnish 2 red pipe cleaners 2 plastic googly eyes (from any toy shop) Black gummy sweets Red licorice Green sprinkles
