About The Author | Andrew Flintoff was born in 1977 in Preston, Lancashire, where he lived until he was 21. At the age of 16 he won a three-year county contract with Lancashire, then followed an England Under-19 trip to the West Indies. At the age of 20, he was picked for his Test debut against South Africa. His career really took off on a tour of India in 2001, when he opened the batting, and his maiden Test hundred came against New Zealand the following March. Andrew Flintoff lives with his wife and baby daughter. |
