About The Author | Seth J. Gillihan, PhD, is a psychologist who specializes in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). Before focusing on his private practice in 2012, he was a full-time faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania and taught in the Psychology Department at Haverford College. He received his doctorate in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, and is the author of multiple books on mindfulness and CBT and the host of the Think Act Be podcast. He lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. |
This book is a gift. Seth Gillihan weaves his own story of depression and healing together with the most powerful insights from mindfulness and cognitive behavioural therapy. On every page, I could hear his gentle voice – beckoning, honest and kind, warm and wise. There isn't a clinical psychologist whose insights I trust more or whose writing is more inspiring. |

Other text | A fresh approach for treating mental health issues that speaks to our times, blending mindfulness and spirituality with CBT to overcome negative thinking, achieve deep healing, and attain lasting peace. |
