About The Author | Born in London, Darcey Bussell began ballet at the Royal Ballet School at the age of thirteen. In 1986 she won the Prix de Lausanne. Then in 1987 she joined Sadlers Wells Royal Ballet, where in 1988, at the age of nineteen, she was recognized by MacMillan and then joined the Royal Ballet as a soloist. In 1995 she was awarded an OBE. She is now a favourite judge on Strictly Come Dancing.Darcey has previously published exercise books such as Pilates for Life, but this is her first lifestyle book. She lives in London with her husband, Angus Forbes, and their two daughters, Phoebe and Zoe. |
