Returning to the Golden House and discovering that it is not the same place it once was, William, Mary, and Alice travel back in time to find the Magician and put a stop to Morden s evil power. Something terrible is happening at the Golden House. Uncle Jack s on edge, he and Phoebe rarely speak, Baby Stephanie is always crying, and someone has trashed the secret room in the tower.
