About The Author | Valeria Parrella was born in 1974 and lives in Naples. Since the publication in 2003 of her debut short story collection, Mosquito and Whale, she has been widely regarded as one of Italy's most exciting authors. She is also the author of the novels The White Space and The Verdict.
