About The Author | Since 1975, Rogene has worked as a graphic designer, art director and creative director for some of the largest advertising, public relations and design firms in Eugene, Oregon, and for more than 25 years, she has been a partner in a successful international card company called PhotoTidings. In 2006, Rogene retired from her company and has become a full-time artist. She studied painting, drawing, sculpture and jewelry making at the University of Oregon and through the years has taught art in a variety of settings, including Artist in Residence programs, schools and art centers, as well as giving private lessons in her own studio.
