It’s Buddy’s bedtime, but there’s just one problem—he’s decided that he’s a robot! His accommodating parents must now “power down” their little machine step by step, from his toes to his tushy. Tim Bowers’s bubbly illustrations capture Buddy’s energy and imagination, and parents and kids will enjoy adopting this new bedtime ritual into their own routines.

About The Author

CHRISTINA GEIST has twenty years of marketing and brand strategy experience and nine years of tucking-kids-in experience. When she's rested, Christina runs two companies: True Geist, a branding and design firm, and Boombox Gifts. Both are based in New York City, where she lives with her husband, Willie Geist, and their children, Lucie and George. This is her first picture book.   TIM BOWERS was born in Troy, Ohio, where he began drawing at an early age. His career in illustration grew from his childhood interest in art and his active imagination. Even then, his artwork reflected an ability to tell stories using humorous characters. Tim has illustrated over thirty-five children’s books, including the New York Times bestsellers Dream Big, Little Pig! by Kristi Yamaguchi and Dinosaur Pet by Neil Sedaka and Marc Sedaka. Tim and his wife live in central Ohio. They are the parents of four grown children and are proud grandparents. Visit him on the Web at timbowers.com.

"The techno-themed scenery and language are kept to a minimum, offering just enough to give it an imaginative flavor; the center of the book focuses on relaxation. With gentle and methodical repetition, each wiggly part is powered down and ordered to be still: legs, bottom, belly, arms, and face. Bowers’ illustrations have a laser focus on Buddy, capturing the active hands and feet of a toddler playing make-believe. " — Kirkus Reviews, June 1, 2016
