Abigail Wheatley (Author) Growing up in Australia and the UK, Abigail often found herself covered in paint or flour, or lost in a book. After a BA in English and a PhD on Medieval Castles, she combined her interests writing Usborne children's books – from cookery, craft and castles to science and unicorns.Fiona Patchett (Author) Fiona Patchett grew up in Yorkshire and studied history at university. She has lived in Italy and San Francsico, but now lives in London. She has written many children's books, on subjects as diverse as stargazing, history and baking. She loves cooking and spends hours testing recipes for fairy cakes.
