About The Author

JUANA PONCE DE LEÓN is a writer, literary critic, and the former editor in chief of Siete Cuentos Editorial, the Spanish-language imprint of Seven Stories Press. Her articles have appeared in many publications including The New York Times Book Review, The Village Voice Literary Supplement, Hispanic, Publishers Weekly, and Sí. ESTEBAN RÍOS RIVERA is a poet and a member of the Union of Younger Writers of Cuba. He lives in Havana.
