About The Author | Mirka Hokkanen is the author-illustrator of the companion book Kitty and Cat: Opposites Attract as well as the early-reader graphic novel series Mossy and Tweed and the illustrator of Four Otters Toboggan: An Animal Counting Book by Vivian Kirkfield. Mirka Hokkanen was born in Finland and began her career as a fine art printmaker before transitioning to picture book illustration. She has lived around the world and loves to knit, sew, and explore the outdoors with her three energetic kids. |
