About The Author | Helen Ashley is a freelance illustrator, artist, designer, & photographer. A passionate cook all her life, she began drawing graphic recipes for friends two years ago and soon found they were mounting her magnetic drawings on their fridges & cooking with her sensational recipes. She trained as an architect at the University of Cambridge & has worked as an exhibition designer in New York City and the UK. She currently divides her time between London and the Leicestershire countryside. Recipes From the Kitchen Drawer: A Graphic Cookbook is her first book. |
This slim volume has the edge on Deighton (Action Cook Book) when it comes to simplicity, and would make a great stocking filler for anyone about to leave home for the first time |
|
Other text | Not only do the delightful and meticulous drawings offer an eye-catching alternative to your average cookbook, they also illustrate how easy cooking can be |
