Alex Laird is a medical herbalist with more than 20 years' experience. Trained in biomedicine and plant pharmacology, she runs the only NHS herbal clinic based in a UK hospital at Whipps Cross. Alex has also published research papers on this subject, and runs the charity Living Medicine.
