About The Author | Edward Ardizzone (1900-1979) illustrated over 200 books and was awarded the Kate Greenaway Medal for Tim All Alone. He was awarded the CBE in 1971.Aingelda Ardizzone is Edward Ardizzone's daughter-in-law. She studied at the Slade School of Fine Art, and made up the story of The Little Girl and the Tiny Doll when her own children were small. |
